Designing the official homepage of the final edition of GP Explorer: The Last Race.

AFTER A SUCCESSFUL FIRST COLLABORATION ON GP EXPLORER 2, I HAD THE IMMENSE PLEASURE OF WORKING WITH NOUVELLE CUISINE AGAIN ON THIS PROJECT. MY MISSION WAS TO SET THE ARTISTIC DIRECTION FOR THE HOMEPAGE OF THE LATEST EDITION OF GP EXPLORER, ENTITLED “THE LAST RACE,” THE FAMOUS FORMULA 4 RACE ORGANIZED BY CONTENT CREATOR SQUEEZIE.

On the starting grid
with a new identity

FOR THIS FINAL EDITION, THE EVENT TOOK A NEW DIRECTION, ADOPTING A MORE PROFESSIONAL AND MATURE VISUAL IDENTITY. THE GRAPHIC DESIGN EMPHASIZES SPEED, PERFORMANCE, AND INTENSITY, ILLUSTRATING THE GROWING SCALE OF THE EVENT.

Research phase

MY MISSION WAS TO ESTABLISH THE DIGITAL ARTISTIC DIRECTION BY INCORPORATING THE BRAND’S GRAPHIC CODES INTO THE UI DESIGN OF THE NEW WEBSITE’S HOME PAGE.

IT ALL STARTED WITH UI GRAPHIC RESEARCH BASED ON THE BRAND IDENTITY WE RECEIVED.

The Final track

I DESIGNED AN IMMERSIVE HERO SECTION CENTERED AROUND THE IDENTITY OF “THE LAST RACE,” WITH A CLEAR VISUAL HIERARCHY SYSTEM TO IMMEDIATELY CAPTURE ATTENTION. AND A CAROUSEL SYSTEM TO ALLOW FOR THE INTEGRATION OF MULTIPLE HEADLINES.

A DYNAMIC COUNTDOWN HAS ALSO BEEN INTEGRATED, HEIGHTENING ANTICIPATION AND EXCITEMENT AS THE EVENT APPROACHES.

Thinking about scalable design

ANOTHER POINT OF FOCUS WAS TO THINK ABOUT THE DESIGN IN AN EVOLUTIONARY WAY: IT HAD TO BE ABLE TO HOST INFORMATION RELATED TO THE DIFFERENT PHASES OF THE EVENT AS THEY PROGRESS – PRESENTATION OF THE DRIVERS, UNVEILING OF THE TEAMS, OPENING OF TICKET SALES, AND SO ON. THE UI HAD TO REMAIN CONSISTENT AND FLEXIBLE TO SUPPORT ALL COMMUNICATION AROUND THE EXPLORER GP “THE LAST RACE.”
